Urban Seed provides its clients with: Pre-Construction Services, Permitting, Development Review, Variances, Cost Budgeting, General Contractor, and Construction Management services.
Urban Seed works throughout Southwest and West-Central Florida which includes Naples, Marco Island, Bonita, Estero, Ft. Myers, Sanibel, Cape Coral, Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Lakeland.
Anthony V. Matonti, Principal
Anthony Matonti has managed construction projects, local and regional planning studies, and major development sites for nearly two decades. In 2017, Anthony founded Urban Seed with the goal of incorporating the best practices of Urban Planning within the Construction industry.
Prior to founding Urban Seed, Anthony worked on major development and transportation infrastructure projects throughout the State of Florida. This experience, along with working on construction sites in his youth, provided the motivation to create a company that tackled both Planning & Building.
When not working, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife, Robyn, and his three children – Maverick, Jagger, and Gemma. Anthony holds a degree in Urban & Regional Planning, is a native Floridian, coaches T-Ball at North Naples Little League, is a member of the City of Naples Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board, and is currently the Chairman of the Collier County Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
John A. Matonti, Project Manager
Being part of the Urban Seed Team, John possesses a strong ability to lead and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget as well as ensuring quality performance on all projects.
John began his career in project management within the telecommunications industry in the mid 1980’s and has managed all types of projects from the ground up to remodels in South Florida, both Commercial and Residential. He continually develops an innovative and engaged culture which promotes continuous process improvement through the use of effective problem solving and disruption of the status quo.
Ron J. Trovato, Project Manager
A thorough problem solver and affable communicator, Ron has over 35+ years of construction management and manufacturing experience. Ron began his career in construction project and built his company RonTro Enterprises, which specialized in laser cutting and metal fabrication for domestic and global clients.
With their three daughters all grown up, Ron and wife Andrea made the decision to sell their metal fabrication business and move back to Florida. Ron is most comfortable working alongside clients, inspectors, building staff, tradesman, and subcontractors. When not working, you can find Ron navigating his family on the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Victor Martinez, Chief Foreman
The Chief Foreman for Urban Seed, Victor manages all staff and sub-contractors on a daily basis across multiple project sites. An avid communicator, Victor embodies the ideals of Urban Seed through his actions and accountability. Fluent in both English and Spanish, and an Engineer at heart, Victor has been an indispensable member of the Urban Seed Team since the companies inception.
